My role: Art Direction & Design team lead
I was responsible for the design of content and visuals for the new European websites. Based on a design concept of the US Creative team, I needed to ensure a cohesive design work within the new brand style and content structure.
I directed my inhouse visual designers based in London, Paris and Berlin who were working on illustrations, photography and content. In peak times, I designed visual elements myself, retouched photographic material, hired and managed creative agencies to support the project.
I also presented and reported to European business units and Global headquarters, coordinated with other teams such as web development teams in London and Paris for implementation.
Result: The new CMS based websites went live on time in all 16 core markets as planned, containing country specific content and languages.
